Dyslexia Therapy & Literacy Tutoring

The Orton-Gillingham Approach

Orton-Gillingham is a 100-year-old, time tested approach. It was the first method specifically designed to help struggling readers by explicitly teaching the connections between letters and sounds. OG introduces the concept of breaking reading and spelling into smaller skills with letters and sounds. Lessons build on those skills over time.

Multi-sensory techniques (sight, hearing, touch) engage multiple pathways in the brain to help students connect language with letters and words. OG is an approach and not a curriculum-based program.
